Hello! I like your work very much, and so wanted to leave a critique for Critmas 2018- Let's go!

Your art is fascinating. Everything has that peculiar and hard to create quality that brings together both the things that humans fear seeing, and the beauty that makes us keep looking even though we're uncomfortable. You have a way with light and design that makes if feel like your pictures are something we have all seen before, in dreams or nightmares or through an alternative consciousness. I notice that there are recurring visual ideas across all your pictures, like the 'rolling' birds, the sharp-nosed monster, and spikes protruding from things and people, that give your work an overarching feeling of being part of a bigger world of its own; of something self-referential, but not self-derivative. Your work, and particularly this painting, reflect deep-seated human fears with beauty, grace and elegance. This particular painting is, of course, frightening, but I like it because it is one of the closest visual representations I have seen for an Eldritch abomination type of being. All in all, your gallery and this painting are very impressive!
